Game Development / Character Design
These two projects are from my graduate character development class. The purpose of this project was to concept and create a 3D character to be used in the Unreal Tournament video game engine. Not only did we have to make the characters fully ready for in-game use but their story and personality had to also be development and fully written about. The two characters were created with a very small polygon count, which is sometimes necessary so not to overload a video game engine. The idea was that if you could create a good character design with minimal polygons, then you can easily create one with higher polygon counts if the game engine allows for it. |
